Catherine's Sugar Tartlets

Ingredients :

  • ½ cup (110 grams) of brown sugar
  • â…› cup (30 grams) of butter
  • ½ cup (120 mL) of corn syrup
  • ½ teaspoon (2 mL) of vanilla sugar
  • ÂĽ teaspoon (1.25 mL) of salt
  • 1 egg

Preparation :

- Melt the butter, then remove from heat. Add the corn syrup, then the brown sugar, the vanilla sugar and the salt.

- Beat 1 egg and add it to the mix.

- Put the mixture in the tartlets.

- Add 6 chocolate chips per tartlet.

- Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 12 minutes.
