Strawberry Icing


Ingredients:

  • â…“ cup (80 ml) margarine
  • 2 cups (250 g) sifted icing sugar
  • 4 tbsp (60 ml) strawberry jam
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) lemon juice
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla

Directions:

Cream margarine until very soft.

Beat in ½ of the icing sugar, then add jam one spoonful at a time.

Beat thoroughly, add the remainder of the icing sugar a spoonful at a time until the icing is a good spreading consistency.
